On February 13, 2007, the 90-day finding on a petition to list the San Felipe gambusia as endandered was published in the Federal Register.  The Service found that the petition does not present substantial information indicating that listing the San Felipe gambusia as endandered may be warranted.  The Service will continue working with their partners on conservation efforts to protect San Felipe Creek.
