Necedah NWR Presents Wolf Prowl Program
Midwest Region, October 13, 2006
Print Friendly Version

Visitors to the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge took a "walk on the wild side" in search of wolves during Wolf Prowl -- a program about Wisconsin wolves.

On October 13, 38 visitors took in a 40-minute program presented by Refuge Biologist Richard King in the Ellen Allan Learning Center.

Wolf howlers Steve Norling, Refuge Volunteer, and Michael Belsky, Supervisory Range Technician, lead visitors on a short prowl for wolves after the indoor presentation.

Although no wolves were heard during the walk, visitors enjoyed the unique experience.
