Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge provided visitors with an up close look at America’s Bald Eagles. 

Volunteers from Crab Orchard NWR led 383 participants on the tour through the restricted use area of the Refuge. 

Those that participated viewed more than 20 eagles during the last two weekends of January.  After the tour many explored the open areas of the Refuge as Crab Orchard NWR is now home to six bald eagle nests.
