Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge was fortunate to recieve funds to upgrade visitor use facilities around the refuge. 

Dick Sorenson, Regional Landscape Architect, visited Squaw Creek October 31 and November 1 for a review of proposed facilities and to provide recommendations for the 2007 projects.  A combination of alternatives related to visitor needs were explored as possible wildlife observation and educational improvements on the auto tour route. Four new kiosks were added in 2006.
