Print Friendly Version
During the period January 23 to 25, 2007, John Hughes of the West Texas Suboffice was invited by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Zone 1 office to give two presentations to new NRCS employees in Post and Amarillo, Texas.  The presentations were designed to inform NRCS personnel about the role of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in trust species conservation in the Texas Panhandle, and included descriptions of Endangered Species Act Section 7 consultations and an overview of the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program.  A total of 16 new NRCS employees attended the training sessions.
