Muscatatuck NWR Staff Monitor Whooping Cranes As They Migrate Through Indiana

Muscatatuck NWR Biotech Dailey and WRS Knowles continue to monitor the Brownstown bottoms for radio tagged whooping cranes in support of Richard Urbanek, Senior Project Biologist, and the Eastern Migratory Whooping Crane Partnership.  To date six whooping cranes have used this area, 10 miles from the Refuge, during their migration in 2006.
