Researchers from Michigan State University have been developing a decision analysis to guide yellow perch management in Lake Michigan. 

John Netto recently attended the second workshop conducted as part of this project.  At the workshop, the researchers presented a proposed structure of the decision model and led discussions to guide further model development. 

This research project will produce guidelines for managing yellow perch fisheries in Lake Michigan that incorporate stock assessment information and uncertainty.
