Migratory Bird Permits Examiner Deanne Endrizzi Offers a Presentation on Waterfowl to Burnsville Second Graders
Midwest Region, October 25, 2006
Print Friendly Version

On October 25, Deanne Endrizzi, Region 3 Migratory Bird Permit Office, offered a presentation on waterfowl and their preservation to a second grade class of 75, at the Sioux Trail Elementary School in Burnsville, Minnesota.

The students read a story about a duckling’s life from egg to adult.

Endrizzi indicated that the second graders had some very provocative questions for people their age.  She brought along some waterfowl models and a mounted greater scaup to engage the students.

The students were also introduced to the Junior Duck Stamp Program.
