Journal Entry   Back Aransas Complex to Host Creatures of the Night Southwest Region, October 26, 2006 Print Friendly Version Aransas National Wildlife Refuge Complex will host a program entitled "Creatures of the Night" on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.  in the Refuge Visitors Center located at the Refuge Complex Headquarters, seven miles south of Austwell, TX on FM 2040. This Family Friendly program will teach visitors about bats, cats, rats and other critters that go bump in the night! It is a great opportunity to bring the family out to enjoy the Refuge and learn about wildlife. There is no fee for the program. Following the program visitors will be permitted to drive to the Observation Tower and back to view nocturnal wildlife.
