On Saturday August 5, 2006 Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge intern Angela Flanagin lead a nature walk that focused on animal tracks and signs.  Children of all ages and their parents attended the educational program.  Although the only animals seen were toads, there were many moose, beaver, fox and coyote signs along the trail located at the refuge office.  Both parents and children learned about signs indicating what animals inhabit an area, even if the animal is not visible.  The children also made plaster casts of different animal tracks.
