The Corpus Christi Ecological Services Field Office (CCESFO) participated in the regular quarterly meeting of the South Texas Natural Resources Partnering Team (STNRPT).  As a result of the impending closure of Naval Station Ingleside, Texas and other reorganization/restructuring within the Department of the Navy, Navy membership in the STNRPT has changed.  Each South Texas Navy installation will still have representatives.  These will be Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Naval Air Station Kingsville, and Naval Station Ingleside (until its closure in approximately 2010).  Regionally, the Navy will provide representative from Naval Facilities Command Southeast (formerly Navy Region South).  U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Texas Parks and Wildlife Service team members were assured by the Navy representatives that it continues in its commitment to the important partnering goals of the STNRPT.
