Journal Entry   Back Rehab Days at the Texas State Aquarium Southwest Region, September 9, 2006 Print Friendly Version  On September 9, 2006, staff from the Corpus Christi Ecological Services Field Office (CCESFO) participated in Rehab Days at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas.  This annual event highlights the important role that our local rehabilitators play in rescuing and caring for wildlife including migratory birds and threatened and endangered species.  CCESFO staff manned a booth that emphasized protection of migratory birds and their habitats and included a variety of measures that can be taken to prevent or avoid injury to birds.  Other participants included the National Park Service, Coastal Bend Bays Foundation, the Marine Mammal Stranding Network, and several local rehabilitation organizations.  Contact Info: Martin Valdez, 505-248-6599, martin_valdez@fws.gov Send to: From: Notes: ..........................................................................................
