On September  21st John Johnston, Jordan River NFH fish biologist, was on hand to help Alpena FRO biologist Anjie Bowen with the ANS Surveillance in the East Tawas area of Lake Huron.

Johnston reported that round gobies were abundant at the sample sight.  The crew also captured some Rainbow smelt, Mimic shiners and Bluegill.  The samples were collected by trawling off the R/V Sentinel.
