Journal Entry   Back Stoney Point Boat Ramp Southwest Region, September 8, 2006 Print Friendly Version Visitors to the refuge will enjoy a new floating boat dock at the Stoney Point boat ramp.  An 8 foot wideby 15 foot long galvanized framed dock with poly skinned floats was purchased from Shore Master Incorporated and installed for use by the boating and fishing public.  A small concrete apron was poured to secure the gangway and provide easier loading and unloading during windy weather.  The dock is surfaced in concrete slabs to reduce vandalism and is wheelchair accessible.  The refuge maintenance crew performed all site preparation and installation activities.
