Print Friendly Version

Joel Trick, Green Bay Ecological Services Field Office, served as a member of a technical committee for development of the Lake Michigan segment of the Great Wisconsin Birding and Nature Trail.  Trick was responsible for assembling narratives for one of the counties covered by the guide.

The Great Wisconsin Birding and Nature Trail is a project of the Wisconsin Bird Conservation Initiative and is funded with state wildlife grant funds.  The Wisconsin Department of Tourism is producing full-color viewing guides for each of the five birding and nature auto trail regions of Wisconsin.

The Lake Michigan Birding and Nature Trail project is the third in this series of five viewing guides.  The viewing guides include maps and descriptions of highlighted sites, their signature species, information on local food and lodging, web site information, and directions to the site.

The Lake Michigan Region viewing guide is completed, and being printed for distribution in late 2006.
