Neosho NFH Staff Member Attends 'An Introduction to Mussels Workshop'

Jaime Pacheco, Neosho National Fish Hatchery Fishery Biologist, attended "An Introduction To Mussels" workship, July 29. 

The workshop covered basic mussel biology, conservation issues, and identification. It also included a lecture and lab. 

The hatchery will become more involved with mussel recovery in the near future and this is part of their staff's preparation.
