Neosho NFH Staff Picks Up Pallid Sturgeon Eggs fromGavins Point NFH

Hatchery Manager, David E. Hendrix, sets up the pallid eggs in Hatching Jars at the Neosho NFH.

David E. Hendrix, Neosho NFH Manager, travelled to Gavins Point, South Dakota, to pick up pallid sturgeon eggs from the Gavins Point NFH, June 26. 

Neosho was given four lots, two females. One of the two females was crossed with one male and the other female was crossed with three different males to give rise to the four lots. The eggs started hatching in transit.  Neosho currently has three lots.
