A group of five conservation professionals from Bulgaria, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovakia visited Pondicherry National Wildlife Refuge in Jefferson, New Hampshire on July 23 2006.  They represented the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, the Balkan Peace Park Project, the Centre for the Protection and Research of Birds, and the Vitosha Nature Park  Directorate.  

The visit was one of several stops in N.H. and Vt. to learn about conservation practices of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, other federal and state agencies and non-government organizations. The visit to Pondicherry was led by David Govatski of the Friends of Pondicherry.
