Three Austin ES Office employees participated in CAST for Kids Fishing Event on April 6, 2006, at Lake Bastrop.  The event, which was sponsored by Lower Colorado River Authority, with assistance from a number of other Federal, State, and local agencies, provided a fun fishing and educational experience for 25 physically and mentally challenged children and their family members.  The children included 6 African American and 7 Hispanic participants.  The event also provided recreational and opportunities for families of participants.
