Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge conducted the 4th Annual Art Contest this year with participants from Alva, Burlington, Cherokee, Pond Creek-Hunter, Timberlake and Wakita schools.

There were a total of 443 entries judged on April 18th. All entries were judged anonymously. Judges were Maella Hunter from Nescatunga, Joanne Joyce from Nescatunga and refuge intern, Mayu Sugaya from Japan.
