The refuge constructed a concrete all weather boat ramp on the Little River to improve visitor access for fishing, hunting, and wildlife oriented recreation on the refuge.  The Little River extends along 17 miles of the refuge, and there are limited primitive access points along the river.  The visitor enhancement project will promote wildlife-dependent recreational opportunities on the refuge.
