The Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge maintenance staff has begun construction of a new office for the fire program in the basement of the fire crew quarters.  This large unused space will provide office and communications facilities for up to four seasonal fire fighters.  The crew worked out of a trailer during the last season due to the lack of space in the biological building. 

Construction should be completed by the end March 2006.
