KENAI: Refuge Completes Traveling Displays
Alaska Region, October 7, 2005
Print Friendly Version

Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, working with SUBIA contractors in New Mexico, recently completed two traveling displays to help inform the public about Refuge programs, purposes, and recreational opportunities.  The eight foot by ten foot collapsible displays include high quality photographs and a Refuge map, along with information on wildlife that call the Refuge home.  Kenai receives more public visitation than all the other Alaskan refuges combined and the new displays will be used at conferences, sports shows, tourist centers, and other outreach venues to inform the public about the Refuge conservation and visitor programs.
