Maintenance Program Makes Headway on Public Use Inprovements at Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge
Northeast Region, September 3, 2005
Print Friendly Version

The maintenance staff at Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge completed a 170 foot boardwalk at Dudley Swamp with the Youth Conservation Corps crew as part of the renovation of Raven Trail. The YCC Crew painted and restored many other information panels.   The Friends Group marked the trail with signs and blazes and provided a new trail guide.

The 1.8 mile trial is one of the most accessible and frequently used by visitors.  Maintenance professionals Mike Krug and Bill Jones also completed four kiosks and installed two of them on the refuge.
