Journal Entry   Back ?Rehab Days? at the Texas State Aquarium Southwest Region, September 10, 2005 Print Friendly Version On September 10, 2005, staff from the Corpus Christi Ecological Services Field Office (CCESFO) participated in Rehab Days at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas. This annual event highlights the important role that our local rehabilitators play in rescuing and caring for wildlife including migratory birds and threatened and endangered species. CCESFO staff manned a booth that emphasized protection of migratory birds and their habitats and included a variety of measures that can be taken to prevent or avoid injury to birds. Other participants included the National Park Service, Coastal Bend Bays Foundation and several local rehabilitation organizations.
