Refuges? friends? group produces and sells wooden, blue goose puzzles
Southeast Region, July 20, 2005
Print Friendly Version
The Coastal Wildlife Refuge Society has begun a project to make and sell wooden blue goose puzzles as a fund raiser to provide support for Pea Island and Alligator River National Wildlife Refuges. They also hope to use the puzzles to spread the message about the blue goose. Work days have been scheduled and an assembly line is in operation to produce the puzzles. Puzzles are fashioned out of half-inch plywood, painted with enamel paint and packaged with a conservation message. The society is offering the puzzles to FWS employees and volunteers for $10 each, including tax and shipping. To place an order, call or email Susie Ahlfeld (susan_ahlfeld@fws.gov or 252-987-1118) or fax a credit card number and shipping information to Susie at 252-987-2438.
