Journal Entry   Back Service presentation at Urban Landowner Wildlife Workshop Southwest Region, June 11, 2005 Print Friendly Version On June 11, 2005, PFW State Coordinator Don Wilhelm made two presentations at an ?Urban Landowner Wildlife Workshop? sponsored by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Urban Program. The event was held at the City of Fort Worth's Nature Center. The first presentation was entitled ?Conservation Programs Available to Private Landowners in North Central Texas? and the second presentation was entitled ?Managing Farm Ponds for Waterfowl and other Wildlife.? Over 75 landowners were in attendance and were mainly ?absentee landowners? - people who live in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex but own farms or ranches outside of the metroplex.
