Journal Entry   Back KENAI: Refuge Cabins Now Available by Reservation Alaska Region, May 2, 2005 Print Friendly Version As of May 2, 2005 ten public use cabins on Kenai National Wildlife Refuge are available by reservation. The reservation system is the result of a new cabin program that has restored old cabins and constructed new ones at many popular Refuge locations. Fees for older cabins are $35/night; whereas rental fees for newly constructed cabins are $45/night. A portion of the rental fees will come back to the Refuge to help administer the cabin program.
