Special entertainment provided at North Louisiana refuges volunteer recognition dinner
Southeast Region, February 18, 2005
Print Friendly Version
The second annual North Louisiana Refuges Volunteer Recognition Dinner on February 18 was a tremendous success. Fifty-six volunteers and spouses enjoyed a great seafood buffet and received ?Thank You? gifts for over 4,000 hours of volunteer service in 2004. Charlie Carmichael received a ?Volunteer of the Year? plaque and we honored the memory of Mary Alice Titsworth, who died in June, by designating her as ?Volunteer Emeritus.? The Stoney Creek Boys provided musical entertainment that resulted in a long, standing ovation. Although they have been playing together for only four months the boys have amazed the entire area, including our volunteers and local television audiences, with their talents.
