Journal Entry   Back Texas Partners for Fish and Wildlife Biologists hold annual coordination meeting Southwest Region, February 7, 2005 Print Friendly Version From February 7 -9, Texas Partners for Fish and Wildlife program biologists met in Hunt County, Texas, to review last years accomplishments, set goals for this year, and discuss potential changes in the delivery of the program. Key issues discussed were the use of the recently developed ranking criteria (and Microsoft Access calculator program), potential development of PFW focus areas in Texas, need for increased usage of prescribed fire in the PFW program, and monitoring of completed projects. During this same week, the Society for Range Management (SRM) held their annual national conference in Fort Worth, and PFW biologists made five presentations at the SRM conference.
