Long Island Field Office Biologist Gets Award For Presentation

Jill Olin, of the Northeast Region's Long Island Field Office in Islip, N.Y., recently received the D. Dwight Davis Award for Poster Presentation under the Division of Vertebrate Morphology. The award was presented during the annual meeting of the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology in San Diego, Cal.

Olin's research, entitled ?Histological Comparison of the Retinal Structure of Deep-water Epipelagic Sharks,? is the result of her ongoing studies of shark biology and behavior.
