Journal Entry   Back Service Mall Event Draws 29,000 Mountain-Prairie Region, October 9, 2004 Print Friendly Version More than 29,000 people had a chance to learn about wildlife and habitat during ?Go Wild at the Mall? on Oct. 9, 2004 at West Acres Shopping Center in Fargo, ND. Uniformed personnel from eight North Dakota field stations and members of a friends group led activities such as building backyard bird feeders and carving critters from soap bars. Guests also played a wildlife trivia game, had their pictures taken with Honker, tried an interactive fishery computer program, and examined a Service fire engine and airboat. It was the second year for the event, which takes place at the state's largest shopping center.
