Connected By The Rivers ? new brochure from Tennessee refuges and partners
Southeast Region, November 1, 2004
Print Friendly Version
Four public land management agencies connected by the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers in Tennessee and Kentucky have joined to provide a unique blending of educational opportunities and resources for educators and students in the area. Stemming in part from the successful partnership of agencies and individuals involved with Cross Creeks NWR's Stewart County Earth Camp, a multi-agency group including U.S. Forest Service, Fort Donelson National Battlefield (NPS), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Cross Creeks National Wildlife Refuge and Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge have produced a brochure, power point presentation and teacher workshop to promote the venture.
