Mexican Wolf Socioeconomic Stakeholder Meeting
Southwest Region, October 16, 2004
Print Friendly Version
According to the nonessential experimental population rule that authorized the Mexican Wolf Reintroduction Project, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is required to conduct a Five-Year Review of the project. The Five-Year Review will be a formal evaluation of the biological/technical, administrative, and socioeconomic aspects of the project. The Service hosted a socioeconomic kickoff meeting in Springerville, AZ to gather the input of the invited interested stakeholders on the impacts of Mexican wolves throughout the Blue Range Wolf Recovery Area. This component of the Five-Year Review has been contracted to Industrial Economics, Inc.
