Print Friendly Version
The Hudson River Natural Resource Trustees, made up of the U.S. Department of the Interior, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and New York State, are conducting an assessment of natural resources damaged by PCB discharges in the river.

The trustees have now released the Final Study Plan for Year 2004 Avian Investigations for the Hudson River. The plan describes activities proposed under the trustees' approach to avian species investigation for the damage assessment. The plan includes a field study of reproduction of belted kingfisher, spotted sandpiper, and tree swallow. The plan has been subject to peer and public review and is being implemented by the trustees.

Also posted at the Web site is a fact sheet entitled "Hudson River Natural Resource Damage Assessment Avian Investigations (Spring 2004)."
