CORRECTION OF STATEMENT ON JUVENILE CRIME STATISTICS

The second sentence of Attorney General Reno's statement on juvenile crime statistics states that "the juvenile murder rate dropped 16 percent from the previous year." The word "rate" should not have been used. In fact, juvenile murder arrests dropped 16 percent last year. We apologize for this error.
