The Federal Lands to Parks Program transfers surplus Federal real property at no cost to state and local governmental agencies for public parks and recreation use.

Twelve properties were transferred in Fiscal Year 2008 including 3,470 acres, to 7 state and local governments and to Puerto Rico.
