The ITA Asia Pacific Partnership Initiative!

US Senator Maria Cantwell, Spokane Mayor Mary Verner, LeRoy Nosbaum, CEO of Itron, and other local businesses will be launching the ITA Asia Pacific Partnership Program at this event which will take place Thursday February 19, 2009 at the Lincoln Center, Spokane, Washington.

The International Trade Alliance (ITA) in Spokane, Washington is partnering with the Asia Pacific Partnership (APP) on Clean Development and Climate. The program brings together the governments and private sectors of Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan and Korea to participate in a program to expand investment in clean technologies, goods, and services; share energy-efficient best practices; and identify policy barriers to the diffusion of clean energy technologies. This innovative program is funded by the US Department of State.

The Asia Pacific Partnership Initiative Launch will attract up to 300 international business and industry leaders from throughout the Inland Northwest.
