Brian Moyer

Brian Moyer is Associate Director for Industry Economic Accounts at the Bureau of Economic Analysis. He oversees the preparation and analysis of the U.S. input-output accounts, the gross domestic product (GDP) by industry accounts, and supplementary industry satellite accounts. He is the author of numerous articles on measuring industry economic performance and is an active participant in national and international efforts to improve industry statistics.

Dr. Moyer received the Commerce Department’s Gold Medal Award for his contributions to international statistical standards and the Silver Medal Award for his work on integrating industry statistics. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the American University.
