HIV/AIDS Programs: Ryan White CAREWare

CAREWare is free, scalable software for managing and monitoring HIV clinical and supportive care and will quickly produce a completed Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Annual Data Report (RDR) and the new Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Services Report (RSR).

Upgrades for Current Users

Listed below are the new features and fixes in each build. Review these and decide if they are important to you. If so, install the latest build. All changes are cumulative: even if you skip a build or two because you decided that those changes were not critical, installing the latest build will still include all previous changes. In that way you don’t have to load each upgrade along the way.

Build 395 (msi 9MB) 3/05/2009

*New features....*	*Hotfixes...*
	Enrollment status algorithm modified to classify clients as Active up until the Date Case Closed. Affects item 32 in the RDR.
	HIV indeterminate status can be applied to kids up to 3 years of age (previously this was restricted to a max of 18 months.)

EXPAND / COLLAPSE FEATURES & HOTFIXES

*New features....*	*Hotfixes...*
In calculated fields requiring a date range in the subfilter, you can now set the range in months. Previously you could only set to days or actual dates.	2009 Poverty Levels added to Annual Review.
Group service entry: allows you to enter a specific service on a specific date for multiple clients.	Custom reports: The TOTALS function fixed for specific service fields (Srv Total, Srv Price). The SUM NUMERIC FIELDS function fixed on main custom reports screen.
	Fixed issue where PERFORMANCE MEASURE tab on client screen sometimes incorrectly showed that a measure couldn’t be calculated.

Before downloading, read the CAREWare End user Liscense Agreement.
Note that Microsoft .NET framework is required to run CAREWare.

Includes client, business, and data tiers. Does NOT include data conversion utility - contact the Help Desk if you need to convert from CAREWare 3.6 before installing 4.1.
CAREWare-Lite (exe 70MB)
Includes pre-populated database for quick start up. See documentation below.
