Technical Assistance Workshop for Prospective Applicants for the FY 2007 Voluntary Public School Choice Grant Competition:
A technical assistance workshop to assist eligible applicants interested in preparing grant applications for FY 2007 new awards under the Voluntary Public School Choice (VPSC) Program was held on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, from 9:00 A.M-12:00 P.M. at the Holiday Inn Capitol, 550 C Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20024. Hotel phone: (202) 479-4000. This hotel is in Southwest Washington near the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station. This station is accessible to the Metro Blue, Orange, Yellow, and Green lines. Staff will present information about the purpose of the VPSC program, selection criteria, application content, submission procedures, and reporting requirements. Individuals interested in attending this workshop are encouraged, but not required, to register by e-mailing iris.lane@ed.gov or to vpsc@ed.gov.
