The Office on African Affairs (OAA) provides constituent services and information to African communities through programmatic activities and outreach materials; serves as a liaison between the African communities, District government agencies, and the Mayor; and provides briefings to the Mayor and District government agencies about the particular needs or interests of the African residents of the District of Columbia.
