Panel 1 : 
Scene: Oudoors in the woods, a young cougar (Rory) dressed in cuffed jeans and printed short sleeve shirt is running over a planked bridge lined with rope. An owl flys over her head. Her parents are on the other side, which is the porch of their home. Mother Cougar (Purrcilla) is dressed in a sarong, holding a bouquet of flowers. Father Cougar (Rex) is in explorer's cargo shorts, and photographer's vest and brimmed hat. A humming bird (Hector) is dressed in goggles and flyer's helmet and scarf in the foreground.
Dialog:
Rory - "Mom, Dad! At school today we did a fire drill and talked about an emergency plan! Do we have an emergency plan for home?"
Rex  - "Come inside and let's go over our home plan too."
Hector - "I love plans, but how do we get in touch with each other?" 

Panel 2 :
Scene: Rory is using a watering can on Purrcilla's bouquet of flowers. A sub panel shows Hector the Humming bird with his wing, hand-like on his chin. 
Dialog:
Purrcilla - "We asked Grandpa Cougie in Florida to be our Out-of-Town contact."
Rory - "That way he can tell everyone we are safe!"
Hector - "I do have a cousin Buzz in California!"

Panel 3 :
Scene: Rory is sitting at the kitchen table with a glass in one hand and a muffin with chips in the other hand. Purrcilla is carrying a pitcher with two glasses on a tray. Hector flutters over the pitcher.
Dialog:
Rory - "I keep a copy of contact numbers and where to meet with me at all times"
Purrcilla - "When you make a call, you may have to be patient getting through. You might have to keep trying."

Panel 4 :
Scene: Rex is reading the "Paw Print" newspaper. Hector is hovering over his shoulder, looking at the paper.
Dialog:
Rex - "Once you get through, keep calls short so others can call too!"
Hector - "That rules out Polly. Parrots talk too much anyway!"

Panel 5 :
Scene: Rory and Rex are seated at the kitchen table. Rex is holding a muffin with a bite taken out of it. Rory has a cup in front of her.
Dialog: 
Rex - "We need two meeting places that are easy to find... one near the house..."
Rory - "The 'Lookout'!"
Rex - "and one outside the neighborhood."
Rory - "Aunt Clawdia's!"

Panel 6 :
Scene: Rory has her pet owl on her shoulder. Purcilla is a the table with a cup in hter hand, while Hector is fluttering in the air at her side with a frustrated expression on his face.
Dialog:
Rory - "What about our pets?"
Purrcilla - "Yes, we need to make them part of our plan. Also let's make sure we have plenty of food and water for them in our supply kit."
Hector - "What am I, Chopped Liver? I can be a pet too!"

Panel 7 :
Scene: All of the cougar family members are gathered around the kitchen table. Their Emergency Preparedness Kit is in the center of the table. Hector is peeking out of the box. The pet owl is in the background on it's perch.
Dialog:
Rex - "Speaking of which, let's check our supply kit and make sure we have everything we need."
Hector - "CHECK! It's all here!"

Panel 8 :
Scene: Rory is looking up as Hector is flying off quickly over her head.
Dialog:
Rory - "So... now what?"
Hector - "First... Practice. LET'S GO!"

Panel 9 :
Scene:
Hector hits the closed wooden door with a loud "Splatt!", bending his beak in the process.

Panel 10 :
Scene: Rex is holding Hector by his scarf at the table. Rory is giggling in the foreground, while Purrcilla looks on from the background.
Dialog:
Rex - "I think first, you should try opening the door!"
Hector - "Very funny!"
