Panel 1 : 
Scene: Oudoors in the woods, a young cougar (Rory) dressed in cuffed jeans and printed short sleeve shirt is holding a telescope in her hands, turning towards Father Cougar (Rex) who is in explorer's cargo shorts, and photographer's vest and brimmed hat. He is sitting in a hammock strung between two trees, reading the newspaper. An owl is in a hole in the tree. A hummingbird (Hector) is dressed in goggles and flyer's helmet and scarf is looking into the wide end of the telescope.
Dialog:
Rory - "Dad remember you promised, today I could help make our family's emergency supply kit!"
Rex - "Sure! Let's gather all the items on the Family Supply List and then review what special items our family should include!"
Hector - "I'll make one for my family too!" 

Panel 2 :
Scene: Rory is glancing down at a ring-bound pad with a pencil in her hand. 
Dialog:
Rory - I'll read you the list!"

Panel 3 :
Scene: Rory is kneeling on a rug with a flashlight in her hand. Rex crouches on one knee, hand draped on the other. Rory's pet owl is perched on an battery powered radio. Hector flutters over two lightning bugs.
Dialog:
Rory - "First, a radio, flashlight and two sets of batteries for each! What are you putting in your kit, Hector?"
Hector - "Two lightning bugs!"

Panel 4 :
Scene: Purrcilla, Rory's mother is handing a can opener to Rory. Rory is carrying a package with her owl perched on it. Hector is struggling with a large bag of bird seed. Three gallon jugs of water are in the foreground.
Dialog:
Purrcilla - "Now we need a three day supply of food and three gallons of water for each family member."
Rory - "And a can opener! Thanks mom."
Hector - "Can't for get pet food! This should keep me fed for a while!"

Panel 5 :
Scene: Rory is picking up a sweater, her owl is hiding under the sweater. Purrcilla is in the background, while Hector flys in from the right with a scarf in his beak.
Dialog: 
Rory - "Then a complete change of clothing for each of us!"
Hector - "I need to save room for one more scarf!"

Panel 6 :
Scene: Rex is in the forground with a claw hammer in his hand. Rory is in the mid-ground looking at her owl on his perch as Hector wraps gauze around the owl.
Dialog:
Rex - "We better add a few tools!"
Rory - "And a first aid kit, which I see Hector has already found."

Panel 7 :
Scene: Rory is on her hands and knees, digging through her closet. Only her legs are showing through the opened door. Both Hector and the owl are dodging the flying toys, books, and sports equipment.
Dialog:
Rory - "Can't forget the fun stuff! My favorite game, CD player and CD's, batteries, books, magazines... Hou about you Hector?"

Panel 8 :
Scene: Hector is seen with a a photograph in his hand, surrounded by various items for his emergency supply kit.
Dialog:
Hector - "Let's see... A picture of cousin Woody, my bug collection, a deck of cards, the latest issue of Bird's Life Magazine,..."

Panel 9 :
Scene: A close up of Rory's face looking down at Hector with a tiny backpack on his back.
Dialog:
Hector - "Just kidding! All I need is my backpack!"

Panel 10 :
Scene: Rory has her hand on Rex's shoulder as he reads in his chair, Hector is flying near Rory's face, while Purrcilla looks on and carries a plant in the background.
Dialog:
Rory - "I think we're ready fo our final check! What do you think, Dad do we have everything we need in our family's emergency supply kit?"
Hector - "Double check! We rock!"

Panel 11 :
Scene: The entire family is gathered around the table with the kit in the center. The owl peeks from behind a magazine entitled "Bird's Life". Rory giggles as she holds a cup with a straw in it.
Dialog: 
Rex - "Excellent Rory! It's all here! Flashlight, radio, food and water, clothing, tools, first aid kit, pet food and fun stuff! Even a copy of 'Bird's Life'!"
Hector - "How did that get in there?"
