Panel 1 : 
Scene: Oudoors near a stream in the woods, a young cougar (Rory) dressed in cuffed jeans and printed short sleeve shirt is splashing through the water, running towards her parents with her hand raised in greeting. The cougar parents are lounging on the rocks on the other side of the creek, their feet are in the water. The Mother Cougar (Purrcilla) is dressed in a sarong and the Father Cougar (Rex) is in explorer's cargo shorts, and photographer's vest and brimmed hat, holding a round water canteen in his hand. An owl is in a flying in front of the daughter as she runs, and a hummingbird (Hector) dressed in goggles and flyer's helmet and scarf is hovering over the father's shoulder.
Dialog:
Rory - "Mom, Dad! Wait 'till you hear what I learned today in Geography class!" 

Panel 2 :
Scene: Close-up on Rory as she explains her day to her parents with her hand raised with it's palm up. Hector is flying below her hand. 
Dialog:
Rory - "We discussed all the weather related emergencies such as hurricanes, tornados, blizzards and even earthquakes!"
Hector - "Cool!"

Panel 3 :
Scene: Rory is between her parents looking up at her father. Rory's pet owl is perched on her hand.
Dialog:
Purrcilla - "You already know how preparing for an emergency is very important!"
Rex - "We have discussed our Family Communication Plan!"
Rory - "And we have assembled a Family Supply Kit!"

Panel 4 :
Scene: Close-up as Hector is whispering into the owl's ear.
Dialog:
Hector - "I have an idea..."

Panel 5 :
Scene: Rory is shrugging her shoulders with her hands in a questioning posture, facing her mother.
Dialog: 
Rory - "But what if something happens when I am at school or practice?"
Purrcilla - "Our meeting place outside the neighborhood is Aunt Clawdia's if you cannot get home."

Panel 6 :
Scene: Rex is in the forground with a flashlight in his hand as he walks through the woods. Rex's hand is on a branch, as Rory is walking behind him, pushing a bush aside.
Dialog:
Rex - "While you are at school, remember to stay calm and listen to directions from your teachers and principal."

Panel 7 :
Scene: The entire family is hiking through the woods, Hector flying in the lead, followed by Rex, Rory and Purrcilla. Each family member carries a backpack.
Dialog:
Hector - "I have a surprise! Follow me!"
Rex - "You should always keep contacts and meeting place information ready in your back pack."
Rory - "Where is Hector taking us?"
Purrcilla - "And if we need to leave home quickly, we have a portable supply kit ready to grab!"

Panel 8 :
Scene: Close-up of Hector is hovering over Rex's nose.
Dialog:
Hector - "But ther is ONE weather condition you have not prepared for!"
Rex - "What's that?"

Panel 9 :
Scene: The whole family is gathered around the two birds as they lift a blanket off of food items arranged on the ground.
Dialog:
Hector - "A sunny day!"
Purrcilla - "A picnic! What a nice surprise!"
Rex - "You really ARE prepared!"
