Annual Reports to Congress of the
Federal Communications Commission (1935 - 1998) and the
Federal Radio Commission (1927 - 1933)
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and its predecessor the
Federal Radio Commission (FRC) released Annual Reports to Congress.
These public documents provided a summary of events and facts pertaining to
broadcasting, telephone, telegraph, common carrier, and other services
during the preceding fiscal year. The Annual Reports provide numerous facts
and statistics as well as insight into the state of telecommunications
in the given year.
Available reports may be retrieved using the menu below. Additional years/issues
are being added as time permits. All the FCC reports are available as
page image files in PDF format and average about 6 MB in size (please allow
sufficient time to download!). The FRC Reports, however, are not available in
PDF format, but consist of an HTML page of scanned JPEG or GIF page images.
