PublicationDate: 3/3/99 Summary: SPRING TRAINING ‘99 WEB REGISTRATION SITE IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE Author: Posted on March 03, 1999 ANNOUNCEMENT: SPRING TRAINING ‘99 WEB REGISTRATION SITE IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE Unfortunately, the web registration system for Spring Training '99: Reauthorization and RFMS is temporarily unavailable. We are experiencing hardware and software difficulties which we expect to resolve very soon. When the web registration system is again operational, we will post an announcement on our "Information for Financial Aid Professionals" (IFAP) web page at ifap.ed.gov and also on the FINAID-L listserve and other financial aid-related listserves. A small number of registrants have reported that they registered for one site and received confirmation for a different site. Our information is that, in fact, everyone is actually registered for the correct site even though some of the confirmations did list an incorrect location. Nonetheless, to be absolutely sure, when the web registration system is operational again, ALL registrants will receive a reconfirmation of their training registration and training site. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary delay may cause, and thank you for your patience as we correct the problem. William J.
