PublicationDate: 11/10/98 Summary: 1997-98 Pell Student Payment Summaries (SPS) Author: PSS - Program Systems Service Posted November 10, 1998 TO: All EDE Destination Points FROM: U.S. Department of Education RE: 1997-98 Pell Student Payment Summaries (SPS) The purpose of this message is to provide a status report on the printing of Pell Student Payment Summaries (SPS). We experienced an equipment failure which disabled our primary Xerox print facility. This equipment failure was corrected on November 6, 1998. We have now re-started the process of printing and "mass mailing" of SPS's for 1997-98. We expect to receive the first printed SPS output (about one-fourth of the total SPS's) Tuesday, November 10, 1998 and will begin the mailing preparation process immediately. We expect to finish all SPS printing by Friday, November 13, 1998 and all SPS mailing no later than Friday, November 20, 1998. To receive your SPS data sooner, EDE users should electronically request ESPS data using either the Windows or DOS version of the 1997-98 Pell Payment PC software.
