ALLIANCE ANNUAL REPORT Alliance Participants: Rocky Mountain Education Center (RMEC) Region VIII (May 31, 2006) |

I. Alliance Background Date Signed: April 7, 2004 Overview: The purpose of this alliance was to provide RMEC members and others with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect employees’ health and safety, particularly in reducing and preventing exposure to work related injuries by addressing safety training issues at the vocational education level. V. Upcoming Milestones As the result of the formation of the partnership between RMEC and NCCER, an effective delivery mechanism for providing OSHA training to CTE instructors and their students was established. Therefore, this Alliance has been allowed to expire. Discussions are underway to determine whether a new Alliance should be formed in support of the RMEC/NCCER partnership. Also, a meeting will be held with RMEC to explore further opportunities for future cooperation. |
