III. Results

With the exception of a pilot training class held for Career and Technical Educations (CTE) instructors with the St. Vrain School District (see table below), the main thrust of the first year of this Alliance has been to lay the groundwork for expansion of CTE training/credentialing throughout the Region and nationwide by 4 primary means:
  1. Making Colorado school districts aware of the training opportunities offered by this alliance
  2. Forming partnerships with educational institutions in Wyoming and North Dakota (ie, Laramie County Community College and North Dakota State University)
  3. Contacting officials with the Curriculum Review Group for Vocational Education in Colorado to discuss including 500/501 training in the re-credentialing of CTE instructors.
  4. Partnering with NCCER to deliver 500 training to CTE instructors nationwide via their Master Educator network.
